Introduction
At Smith Economics Group, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all our users. We are aware that our current site does not meet the current standards, so we are in progress creating a new site. Our current projected go live date is by Fall 2025.
Compliance with Accessibility Standards
Smith Economics Group strives to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines have been established to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities. While we work to ensure our website is accessible, we recognize that some content may not yet fully meet all accessibility standards.
Feedback and Contact Information

Third-Party Content
Some content on our website may be provided by third-party vendors, including embedded content, videos, and social media links. While we aim to ensure that third-party content is accessible, we cannot always control the accessibility of external platforms. We recommend that users contact the third-party provider directly if they encounter accessibility issues with their content.
Conclusion

Accessibility Log
April 24, 2025 We are aware of the following areas of our site that are not currently accessible and plan to address each item over time. This log will be kept updated as we address these items. If you need help accessing anything on our site, we would be very happy to assist you. Please get in touch at [email protected].
To be completed:
- Hedonic Damages book, downloadable pdfs by chapter.
- Downloadable pdfs on the Publications page
- Testimonials, downloadable pdfs
- Many data tables throughout Stan’s Articles are embedded as images instead of selectable text. We have added alt tags to the images, but the data contained is not accessible.
- Each video in the video testimony section has a transcript, but there are no closed captions.
- Downloads on the Start a Case page are not accessible.
Reading Level of this site
Most of the pages in this site are above a 9th grade reading level. While WCAG AAA guidelines require a simplified summary be included per page for such content, our goal is to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, where these summaries are not specifically required. Given our intended audience for this site are legal professionals, we do not plan to pursue this aspect of accessibility at this time. However, if you have any questions our site we encourage you to get in touch.
